Why do my copies come out poorly?

How to fix the problem
- Some copiers have a small built-in cleaning tool inside the machine. Use it to gently wipe the printhead lenses and remove toner dust. The tool is attached to the copier, so keep it connected while cleaning.
- If you still see streaks even after cleaning the printheads, it may be because of misaligned drum cartridges. Remove and reinstall the cartridges to restore their alignment.
- Another component that can affect your copier’s print quality is the intermediate belt transfer (IBT) cleaner. Every time you print, this part removes leftover toner and paper dust from the transfer belt, so by cleaning it, you should be able to produce clear and consistent prints again.
Note that the blade within the IBT cleaner can be extremely sharp. For safety reasons, it’s best not to touch the blade directly. If you suspect this component needs attention, contacting a trained technician is usually the safest option.
